For a year and a half now, Lali and Tall Paul from Food Walks of Texas have been introducing us to the amazing food, drinks, history and shopping that is Historic Downtown McKinney. Every Saturday and Sunday you can spot their bright red shirts being trailed by a group of foodies eager to discover what the McKinney square has to offer.
Well now they are venturing a little past the downtown square, and heading over to Chestnut Square Village and their Farmers Market. Introducing the Food Walks of Texas Farmers Market Tour, happening the first Saturday of the month!
Explore the McKinney Farmers Market and enjoy a Chef-prepared gourmet lunch sourced from seasonal produce and local farms picked right from the farmers market. While on the tour guests will get a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the market, meet the local farmers and artisans selling their amazing products at the farmer's market, and then enjoy a seasonal gourmet 3-course lunch prepared by local Chef David Bernard.
This intimate tour promises to be delicious, and is a great insight into our local farmers and the ever so popular farm to table concept we love here in McKinney. There are only two dates left this year, Oct 5 and Nov 2, so hurry in to experience this new adventure with Food Walks of Texas!
