With more and more businesses coming to Adriatica, I was happy to see a new sushi restaurant recently added. Umai Sushi opened in July, located in the spot vacated by Wasabi, near Starwood Café. This small spot is open for lunch and dinner throughout the week. At Umai Sushi you can find any of your standard sashimi and sushi rolls (spicy tuna is always my go to). Some of their specialty rolls include the Stonebridge roll (shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, panko fried, topped with special house sauce) and the Adriatic roll (crab mix, cream cheese, eel, asparagus wrapped in salmon).
If you make it in for lunch you can take advantage of the multiple lunch specials they offer. As someone who is indecisive, I always love getting a bento box to sample a few options during one meal. The lunch bento box at Umai comes with soup, salad, edamame, gyoza and your choice of sushi roll.
If sushi rolls are not your thing, Umai has poke bowls, fried rice, and noodle options available too.
You can sit at the sushi bar or pick a table by the window to take advantage of the beautiful views of Adriatica.
Umai serves lunch 11:30-2:30 Monday through Friday and is open for dinner 7 days a week.
