McKinney Wine & Music Festival is back for its 2nd year
2nd Annual McKinney Wine & Music Festival
Presented by Master Built Contractors
The McKinney Wine & Music Festival is back, baby! This free event promises to be a great time, with some of the best local food, music, and wine around. The 2nd Annual Wine & Music Festival will be held on Saturday October 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Adriatica in McKinney. Some of the highlights include live music, a kids’ play zone, delicious local food, wine tastings, shopping and the must-see grape stomping competition.
“Master Built Contractors is proud to present the 2nd Annual McKinney Wine & Music Festival, which is a wonderful event for the whole family,” said Don Hughes, Founder of Master Built Contractors. “The Wine & Music Festival provides the community with another great opportunity to connect and celebrate cultural arts in McKinney. We’re excited to see everyone in October!”
WINE: More than 20 North Texas wineries will be serving 100 varieties of wine.
BEER: Not a fan of wine? TUPPS beer will be available in addition to cocktails for any non-wine lovers.
FOOD: Ascension coffee, EJ Wills, crepes, pizza, and hibachi are just a few of the delicious bites local restaurants and food trucks will have available for purchase all afternoon.
PRO TIP - SAVE TIME: Purchase your 10 tasting tickets and signature event wine glass before the event so you can just swing by the pre-purchased tent and grab your tickets and glass and roll. You’ll be happy you got your tickets early! A portion of the wine tasting event proceeds will benefit the Love Life Foundation. (Pre-purchase tickets here)
BANDS: The stage will be rockin’ with non-stop entertainment, presented by Doctors of McKinney. Jam out to Redwine Band, Aaron Hendra and the Maylee Thomas Band.
GRAPE STOMPING: I can't wait to check out the grape stomping competition this year, where teams of two will compete for bragging rights and a free bottle of wine. One team member stomps grapes while the other collects the juice coming out of the spout. The $20 entry fee will go towards Warriors Keep of McKinney.
FAMILY FRIENDLY: There is loads of entertainment for the kids too! They can play with friends and make new ones in the Kids’ Play Zone Presented by Trinity Falls.
SHOP TIL YOU DROP: So much shopping at the event! In addition to more than 60 boutiques and artisan booths, there will be home town businesses like McKinney residents Bob & Vickie Roden who will be at the event promoting their next big group vacation to Napa and Sonoma.
WHERE/WHEN: The 2nd Annual Wine & Music Festival will be held on Saturday October 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Adriatica in McKinney
PRO TIP - EASY PARKING: Make it easy on yourselves and park at the Stonebridge Methodist Church and take the free shuttle to the event thanks to event partners Auto Hail Repair Group.
