9th Annual Bike the Bricks

Historic Downtown McKinney

2:30-11:30 pm

Food, Spirits, and Heart-Racing thrills #bikethebricks. Come for the fun at this free event in Downtown McKinney. Watch 500+ cyclists zoom past the square at speeds over 40mph! As the largest one day cycling race in Texas, Bike the Bricks has a purse worth more than $25,000. Join the excitement and grab some delicious food and drink on the square.


Yellow Wood Music & Outdoors Festival

Myers Park

Race to Brunch 5K 9am

Music and Outdoors Festival 10 am - 4 pm

Barnyard Party 7-10 pm

There are three main parts to this event. The main festival is free and family friendly. Before the festival is a 5K and that evening there's a Barnyard Party with music, dinner, firepit smores and more.

  • The Race to Brunch 5k will take place at the beautiful polo field at Myers Park & Event Center on Saturday, May 26th at 9am! Runners will receive a Race to Brunch 5k T-Shirt, Brunch Swag Bag and Medal! At the finish line will be live music, beer, mimosas, brunch cuisine, 50+ artisans and boutiques and of course all the festivities that come along with the Yellow Wood Music & Outdoors Festival!

  • The Yellow Wood Music & Outdoors Festival is all about great music and the great outdoors! Help celebrate Memorial Day weekend with event partners The Warrior's Keep! This FREE festival will take place in McKinney at Myers Park. There will be live music, local food, craft beer and wine, and food/fitness/outdoors activities and classes (think Goat Yoga, Knife Skill Class, Tent and Hammock 101, Bootcamp Workouts, Mixology Class, and lots more).

  • Barn Yard Party Presented by Trinity Falls

  • Yellow Wood is ending #thebestdayever with a celebratory dinner and party at the Myers Park Pole Barn! The event will feature a bbq dinner, wine and beer, The Justin Merritt Band, dancing, lawn games, photo booth and fire pit s'mores! The party is for those 21+. The event will be held from 7pm-10pm. Tickets include your dinner & 3 drink tickets!

Smiles Annual Charity Concert and Family Festival


5-11 pm

The 11th annual family friendly concert will feature country music star Joe Nichols and the Maylee Thomas Band as the headliners. Features a Flyover with 4 WWII planes, a children's area with bounce houses and other activities, food vendors, 3 bands, and ending with a fabulous fireworks show. Minimum $5 donation PER PERSON at the gate. All funds raised will go towards hosting the event and building a 100% mortgage free home for a wounded veteran. No Bags or back packs larger then 6 X 6 inches. Clear ziplock bags are allowed to carry in diaper items. No coolers, firearms.
